This TV is not completely an LED TV but instead it is an LCD-LED TV that uses LCD panel with LED as backlight as a replacement for CCFL back lights which is called as an IPS-alpha LED-backlit LCD panel. This makes it more efficient in both, Display quality wise and energy wise. The salient feature of this panel is that it reproduces the color in great depths and gives sharp contrast to display vivid and natural images. Furthermore, talking about the performance, its matt display is well tested to play high formats including the popular mkv and mp4.  It does not include any brightness or contrast sensors, so you will have to manually adjust them for your convenience.
